where do i go to print my store bought blank wedding invitations?

July 29, 2010

I bought blank invites from Target. i am trying to figure out the most cost effective way to print out my wedding invites… However, I do not know where to look in order to compare prices on printing. would it just be cheaper to print them at home? how easy is that? or just order them online?

I was originally going to print mine myself because i thought it was cheaper, but i found the perfect invites for like less than $80 for 200 of them. That was including colored ink and stuff.

of course they can get wayyy more expensive then that, but check out ann’s bridal bargain’s website.
you can pick the kind you want and it takes you step by step and can even put what you want. it is an AWESOME site.

good luck

Whats the best online website to buy wedding invites from? | buy wedding invites online

June 25, 2010

i was cute, cheaper ones!

I was looking in to printing my own but I found out it isn’t worth it in the end. Say your inviting 150 people you can get most DIY sets for $20-$30 for 50 , so you will need 3 of them so that’s $60-$90. Then you will need ink color and black depending on the printer you have that could be $30-$60 each. So that $60 -$120 . SO that’s $120- $180 right there not counting time. I found this great deal at www.vistaprint.com . ( they print the text for you and they can also ship them from there site to your guest if you want them too)

IF you Google "free save the dates " they will be the first ad that comes up. You get 100 free postcards . you can use those for the save the dates or for you invites . They also have 100 free business card that you can use for RSVP’s or save the dates. They let you also design your own background and they have matching sets. GREAT DEAL . ( http://www.make-your-own-invitations.com… ) I would check that out first . The shipping is cheap. For the 100 postcards its only about 6 dollars in shipping . On the save the dates you can make the back like a postcard so you don’t have to buy an extra 100 envelopes you can just send them out so it looks like a postcard. They also have great deals on the none free stuff . They have about 10 invites for $7-$8 is about the most you would spend . Check it out. Hope this helps.

Oh yeah and watch out with DIY sets because I have heard that the ink runs while its in the mail and comes out horrible.

Where can I find a cheap or free site to do your own wedding invitation?

June 21, 2010

Looking to design and print my own invites or order cheap ones. Please help.

A really good place is http://designbetty.com They not only have invitations, but they have save the date cards, magnets, note cards, and things of that nature. And they are reasonable priced. My fiance and I ordered our save-the-date magnets from them and designed the whole thing on the site! We also are ordering our invitations, and other stationary from them. Its really nice b/c you can customize it and add your text and see it there before you order it.

Is there such things as cheap wedding invites that are cute? DIY suggestion welcome!?

Also what is the etiquette rule when only inviting select group to a private reception!

Why don’t you record a very short video of you and your fiance with a general message inviting them. Then burn copies on your computer and then all you have left is to take a picture of you and your fiance and make copies at Kinko’s for the CD cover.

Where could I find Cheap Wedding Invitations?

June 15, 2010

I need help finding wedding invites that are cheap and pretty. My parents are NOT helping me with the wedding (Which totally infuriates me!!) and I can’t afford alot of extravagance…. Any ideas? HELP!!! My wedding is in August!

Create your own! I have received some of the best invitations that were hand made. Think…scrapbooking! Buy the color cardstock of your choice at the local stationary store, have photos printed for 19 cents each at your local WalMart or Fred Meyer. Type up the information on a pretty piece of stationary (you can fit two to a page). Then do some cutting and pasting. You can tie the information part to the cardstock with a pretty ribbon…you would be amazed at what you can do. There are tons of scrapbooking sites online that will give you loads of ideas…be creative and save money. Congrats on the wedding, don’t stress (this is more than just the fancy wedding stuff..it is the rest of your life with a wonderful guy, don’t lose sight of that). Good Luck and Best Wishes!

What is a cheap yet classy wedding gift?

June 7, 2010

I was invites to a wedding of a friends brother. We rarely spoke and i dont really consider him a friend. But i was invited and there is free food and an open bar. What is somthing under 40 dollars that is a decent gift

They’re newly weds, so money would be the best gift for this expensive celebration… Usually people like money the most, because they can use it. But, if you gave them maybe some fancy china they would proboably never use it. Im SURE they’ll use money!

I dont want to swapend an arm and a leg…?

June 4, 2010

I have a little bit of money to stretch since I just found out my dad is paying for most of my wedding (yay!) So I really want to get nice invitations but I do not want to spend a ton on them. My wedding colors are red (darker red almost like a burgundy) white and black. I was thinking about invitations with our picture in the background or something cute in our wedding colors. Does anyone know of a website that does cheap wedding invites that are cute?
(Stupid keyboard… ugh **spend**)
I am getting sick of these message boards…. I come on here to get advice and people are jerks about it… I have googled it already… I just wanted to know if someone knew some sites that dont show on google…. not all of them pop up! I found efavormart from someone on YA and that did not come up on google when I was searching before…

My favorite website is Wedding Paper Divas. They have affordable invitations and they are all just gorgeous, and very easily customizable.

Here is one in red/black/white:
