I am getting married soon. Does anyone know were i can find cheap wedding favors, invitations, and decorations
March 11, 2010
these days alot of wedding do not even have wedding favors..but you could do what my friend did. She just bought the mixed bags of hershey minatures or hershey kisses (good idea for a wedding) and sprinkled them down the center of the entire tables. They are the best favors…you can eat them while waiting for dinner and you don;t have to worry about taking them home and throwing them away. Another idea I think is cute is hershey kisses roses. Try hersheys.com and you can get the directions on how to make them. You could put them in vases on the tables and they serve as your table decorations too. As for invitations you could go to your local office supply store or craft store and buy invitations you put in your computer and make. Good luck.

I am a true believer in Michael’s Arts and Crafts. They have some addorable favors, beautiful invitations and decorations. Most are do it yourself. But the price is a fraction of what you would pay someone to do them.
Good Luck!

Search online… I found beautiful fairly cheap invitations from Ann’s Weddings online. I was lucky enough to have friends to help with decorations. I had a hard time with favors though so I searched on ebay for ideas and ended up making my own. I went to walmart and bought about 4 cases of bottled water at $4 a case. I’m pretty good with a computer so I made a little design with daisies (our flower) and a little saying with the date of our wedding and our names and I printed them on sticker paper. I cut them up and then took the labels off the bottled water I had bought, and put my new labels on them. We got married outside in July (in mississippi) so it turned out to be a wonderful and very helpful favor!

Ebay has a lot of great stuff. We bought almost everything we needed off ebay when a friend got married. I’m getting married this summer and have already found many great things.

I got my invites from Ebay and added some "garnish" to them with ribbons and feathers. I had scrolls which I printed up myself on the PC, then tied with ribbon and added to fluffy marabou feathers tucked under the scroll. They cost me £25 for 25 invites. For decorations I am using candles, candles EVERYWHERE!!! I am also using huge glass bowls that will have water and pebbles in them and having floating candles. As part of our buffet we have ordered a "bouquet" of chocolate dipped strawberries, they are arranged like flowers and look very pretty.

The cheapest option would be mints in cute favor boxes. Mints are sold in lbs and favor boxes are usually sold for a dollar or less each.
It’s cheap & edibel so people won’t throw them away
