Start here, with: How ’bout you only invite 4 guests, and use the pretty white invitations, with your choice of lovely border, that costs a few pennies more? And put them into some envelopes?
And, one more thing, kool aid is NOT fruit punch!

Michael’s is a terrific place for wedding accessories of any kind!
They have a large selection of paper, cheap and more expensive.. but I am sure that you will find what you need! I do all my scrapbooking at Michael’s and Archeivers and I swear by their fun little bits here and there to spice up my kids’ scrapbooks! have fun and have a great wedding!

My daughter and I went to the scrapbooking store and got everything to make 150 invites for $100. That included cardstock, vellum, and a printed paper. We got three invites out of each sheet of paper. We used the card stock and the printed paper to make a sleeve and printed the wording on the vellum using my home computer, then slipped the vellum into the pocket. ordered postcard response cards from Vistaprint, also pretty cheap. We used a paper cutter from the school I work at but most scrapbooking stores will let you use their cutters if you buy from them. We purchased envelopes from Staples. Including postage, I think we spent less than $200 for super cool invitations.

Also, try a wholsale paper store. I made my own programs with heavy cardstock and vellum, 300, for about $100. Look in the phone book, or on Yahoo Yellow pages. The wholesale works best if you are doing a lot- anything over 100. Under 100- you might be okay at a regular retail store.
If you don’t know a good wholesale paper store- try calling a small printer. Don’t be shy! You aren’t competing with them, and they might share with you their sources.. They can tell the paper supplier that they sent you their way and that helps their relationship. I know, it can be embarrassing, but worth it for the money, right?
Congratulations! Don’t forget to have fun, you only do this (well, we hope so…) once!

Try bluedotpapershop.com They have tons of colors and you can order sample sheets to make sure the color is right. It is $11.99 for a pack of 50 sheets. Also you might want to check someplace like Michael’s. I got my paper for my invitations there on sale.
