Hottest Trends In Wedding Invitations
June 3, 2010
We’re talking about the latest trends in wedding invitations, and one of the newest ideas that soon to be wed couples are doing is to send their invitations in boxes instead of envelopes. More and more couples are neatly packing their invitations, reply cards, maps, into stylish little silk boxes that can create a real impression when your guests receive them, and will also allow you to lick less envelopes. You can pick the color of your box, and even include something more in the packages that says something about you and your wedding theme. If silk boxes sound too expensive, you can also try cheaper paper boxes to pack your wedding invites into. But remember, using boxes instead of envelopes will cost you more in terms of shipping costs, and be careful when choosing your silk or paper box… the bigger the package, the more expensive it will be to ship. This is a really classy idea that will make your invitations memorable, but it’s not the cheapest option, so it’s probably better suited for you only if you’re having a smaller wedding… or if you have money to burn.

3D Pop Out Wedding Invitations
February 17, 2010
nuptialstv.com
We’re talking about hot wedding invitation trends, and nothing will make your invite pop out more then by adding a third dimension to a usually flat medium. Including flowers, charm bracelets, shells, leaves, pearls, feathers, or any other object that is special to you and your future spouse will make your invitation more unique. Bind a single rose matching the type your fiancée gave you on your first date along with your invitation, reply card, and map, or add some glitz to the invitation by creating a border made up of beads, jewels, or rhinestones… fake ones for those with normal budgets, and real ones for those couples who really just want to show off. Make sure you don’t do too much when adding a bit of dimension to your invitation packages… you don’t want to distract from the actual information inside the envelope. But adding extra, three dimensional flourishes to compliment the usual invitation can really help them pop out… and add a personal touch that will give your guests a little taste of you and your fiancées personalities. Plus, everyone likes a nice surprise when they open a package!

Wedding Invitations
February 3, 2010
Welcome brides, grooms, and future wedding guests I’m Harmonie Krieger your host for nuptialstv.com your video guide to planning your wedding and beyond.. On this edition of Nuptialstv we will be covering wedding invitations.
Timing is everything and nowhere is that truer than when you are planning a wedding. Wedding invitations are critical to wedding planning not just for the bride and groom but also for the wedding guests. The wedding invitation itself serves a dual purpose. It’s first purpose is to announce the wedding plans of the couple sending it out. The second purpose is to provide the guests with a wedding planning tool of their own.
Wedding invitations provide the date, time and location of the wedding. It will also alert the guest to the type of apparel that may expected from the formal to the informal. A wedding invitation to a beach wedding will indicate a different type of clothing than one might wear to a formal Catholic wedding ceremony in a grand old cathedral. Because the wedding invitation provides so much information and the couple needs the RSVPs returned from the guests to confirm how many are coming — you might say the wedding invitation is the lynch pin that makes the wedding possible.
With that in mind, you should send out the wedding invitations no later than 12 weeks prior to the wedding. If your wedding invitations are ready, you should send them out 16 weeks prior to the wedding. 8 weeks prior to the wedding contact the guests you have not received RSVPs from. Most vendors will require a final count 4 to 6 weeks prior to the wedding, so this gives you and your guests the perfect window to coordinate their schedules with your plans.
Thanks for watching nuptialstv.com, I’m your host Harmonie Krieger offering Congratulations for the Groom and Best Wishes to the Bride!

Binding Your Invitations In Style
January 10, 2010
nuptialstv.com
We’re talking about the hottest trends in wedding invitations, and to really make your invites stand out, you’ve got to think about everything… even the belly band that binds your invitations, reply cards, and maps together. A bellyband takes the place of an “inner envelope,” and even this utilitarian part of your invite set can add style to your presentation. A classy and traditional approach to the belly band is a rich velvet strip with an antique brooch as a flourish. Or choose a binding that will give your guests a clue to the wedding’s theme… if you are going for a country style wedding, use twine or ribbon interwoven with a sprig of thistle, creating a lasso effect. Or use palm tree leaves to give your guests an early taste of your upcoming tropical wedding. Just make sure the bellyband strikes a nice balance with the rest of your invite materials… if the invitations are busy, keep the bellyband simple, but if you have very simple invitations, go a little crazier with the bellyband. It’s all about striking a harmonic balance in your wedding invitation, the first step towards striking a harmonic balance on your wedding day… and in your marriage.
