How should I word my wedding invitations?

February 6, 2010

I want my wedding invitations to be from my mother (my father is deceased) and my fiance’s children. It can also include us as hosts, but I mainly need help in wording the invite to be from my mom and his sons.

Here are some examples for deceased parents:

Here are some examples for children of the bride or groom:

You’ll have to combine both some how.

and
Annie, Bob and Cathy Jones

[name of the bride]
and
[name of the groom]

  2. Hi,
I think its a lovely idea to have the invite from your mum and your fiance’s children, maybe have something like this.

(insert name of your mum) and (children’s name) would like to invite you to witness the marriage between (your name and your fiance’s name) and then all the details.

    have a wonderful wedding.

  3. I found three websites that have lots of unique wordings for bridal showers and weddings.

    http://www.cardsshoppe.com/bridal-shower-invitations/
    http://www.express-invitations.com/bridal-shower-invitations/
    http://www.announcements-shoppe.com/bridal-shower-invitations-announcements-cards/productslist-12-1.htm

I have ordered from all three sites for different occasions and been very pleased. Take and look and see what you think.
